Founded in 2015, the describer is an online platform focused on bringing together the best architects and projects. Made by architects for architects, we gather a series of interviews and conversations with architects from all around the world, standing for a practise of contemporary architecture that considers the context and environment it was made for.
We are the online source where you can find architecture and context described by those who work and understand it better than anyone. In the architects words you’ll find a detailed description of all the hard work, the analysis and interpretation put on each and every project…and yes, we get some great pictures to go with.
We take pride on our stories and interviews, producing and directing a video testimony to better understand ideas, concepts and approaches in contemporary architecture. We are able to do it thanks to the help of several architects that open their offices to our cameras, that share their projects and make architecture accessible to all of our audience.
