Heatherlands House

Heatherlands is an extension onto an existing house featuring a pool house, gym and flat.
The intention was to respond carefully to the folding of the landscape and pitches of the house, blending the new building into its surroundings.

The spaces highlight views, both concealing and opening out to them. An extended living room forms a transition point between the old and the new, and the disparate parts of the program collecting reflected views and light.

The addition is made entirely from sustainable materials and utilizes sustainable systems such as FSC timber, stack ventilation and water collection.
