Millesime is the most important gastronomic event in Mexico that brings together the culinary arts, the taste of good food and design in one place.
Within this framework, each year they choose 6 architects and interior designers to design a luxury restaurant within a 3-day event, under strict curatorship.

One of the architects selected this year is Luis Arturo García, founder of EDAA, a young firm that has been awarded multiple national and international prizes such as the Gold Medal at the Young Architects Biennial and the Dedalo Minosse International Prize with its "Casa Meztitla"

This time he designed the ephemeral restaurant "On the table with Rapitae".
"Rapitae seeks to generate an experience of space and its relationship with time, it is a reflection on the distances that condensed the experience of the observer" - Yupica- Visual Artist

The concept of "On the table with Rapitae" goes back to the most elementary of civilization: food as a raw material.
Just as the visual artist Yupica extrapolates food to the field of art, which is transcended by converting basic food into experiences, transferring its symbolic burdens.
Not only was a restaurant designed, but a common space was created for visual delight, where culinary, luminous and sonorous art are the protagonists.
